Any (semi-) automatic drafter can be run from the Litams app. All you need is:
- a ConnectBox to hook up your drafter to the app
- the Litams app (the app is free, but a Litams subscription is recommended
- wifi near the drafter (a phone's hotspot function may do, but permanent wifi is recommended)
The ConnectBox is made to order, to match the reader and weighing equipment which already be available on your drafter. Please contact us for more details.
The ConnectBox is Plug & Play. All you need to do is mount it on the drafter, hook up the parts which are already on your drafter and go.
From the app, you can choose between:
- Fully automatic, unattended weighing and/or drafting
- Drafting on criteria which are in the database, eg sex, age, breed, treatments and such
- Semi-automatic drafting, whereby you control one or more of the gates from your app
- Manual weighing and drafting
In the case of unattended weighing and drafting, you can monitor progress from the app, even when not in the vicinity.
It is also possible to weigh and draft without a drafter.
